PREMIUM ORGANIC FERTILIZER

Our Fertilizer Has Tremendous Benefits Over Synthetic Fertilizers

University research has demonstrated that fertilizers containing organic nutrients are as reliable, if not better, than traditional synthetic fertilizers. Organic fertilizers offer natural, slow-release organic nutrients that nourish plants gradually, resulting in fast green-up and long-lasting effects. These fertilizers contain natural substances that help build stronger plants, making them more resistant to drought, and also contribute energy to the soil, promoting superior nutrient uptake.

Start With The Soil

Our organic-based fertilizer is designed to nourish your lawn starting with the soil. The organic base to our fertilizer helps to improve the soil over time by adding carbon, which improves the physical composition of the soil over time. This helps your soil to be more porous, be higher in organic content, and have increased soil microbial populations. A healthier soil can sustain a better lawn over time with fewer inputs. Our clients lawns improve over time because of our commitment to using organic-based fertilizers.

Environmentally Friendly

One of the key benefits of organic fertilizer is its ability to increase water retention, reducing the leaching of minerals from run-off water. In contrast, synthetic lawn fertilizers often wash away with excess watering or rainfall, polluting ponds, rivers, lakes, and oceans. The leached minerals from chemical fertilizers have been linked to eutrophication, a process that can harm aquatic ecosystems. By avoiding concentrated excretions of minerals, organic fertilizers are less harmful to fish, birds, and wildlife, making them a safer and more environmentally friendly option.

Aeration & Overseeding FAQ's

Do I need to mark sprinkler heads?

We ask that you mark sprinkler heads and underground dog fences so we can avoid damaging them when we aerate. We notify you which day you are scheduled to give you enough time to mark your system.

How often should I water new seed?

New seed needs to be constantly moist. You will need to water 2-3 times per day for a few minutes until seed has germinated, which typically takes 7-10 days. We will provide you with detailed watering instructions.

Can aeration & overseeding be performed in the Spring?

We will be happy to provide the service for you in the spring, however it is recommended that you wait until the fall. The seed that germinates in the spring has very little time to develop a root system that can compete with our hot, dry summer months.

How do we pay for service?

We accept all forms of payment including card and check. A card on file or prepayment by check is required to begin service. For card on file, it is pay-as-you-go and you will only be charged once a service has been completed.

Do you recommend aerating and overseeding every year?

We do, however overseeding your lawn is more important and can be done without aeration if you are looking to save. Our grass type does not spread, so the only way to fill in bare spots and increase density of lawn is to overseed every fall.

What type of seed do you use?

We use blue-tag certified seed that is chosen for it's dark green color, disease and drought resistance. We use the best seed that we can possibly buy!
