New Menu of Services For 2024
We had a busy 2023 season and are THANKFUL to our clients for their continued patronage of Simply Turf! We are excited to expand our menu of services this coming season to better serve our existing and new clients, and deliver the RESULTS to their lawns!
Organic Compost Topdressing
This service is one of the best things you can do for your lawn, especially if you are in a new housing development. Adding a thin layer of compost to the lawn promotes soil development, and is helpful in aiding in seed germination when done in conjunction. New construction soils are often depleted of nutrients, lacking in organic matter, and have a poor soil structure. By adding compost we are introducing carbon to the soil that promotes soil porosity and increase biological activity from microbes, beneficial bacteria and fungi. All of these are helpful in creating a beautiful looking lawn with less chemical inputs.
Tree & Shrub Fertilization
This service will be an add-on for clients that are signed up for our turf care program. The trees and shrubs around your home need nourishment just as your lawn does. Often the builder will plant foundation plants around your home with little to no soil amendments added. These plants grow slowly and lack vigor and do not enhance the curb appeal of your home. With this service, we provide the slow release nutrients to bring out the best in your trees, shrubs and perennials.
Complete Lawn Renovation
Depending upon the condition of your lawn, a complete lawn renovation may be in order. Or if you are tired of battling invasive species in your lawn such as Bermuda grass, Stiltgrass and other noxious plants, a complete lawn renovation might be the way to go. With our increased menu of services we can provide you the best options for these scenarios including starting from scratch. A multitude of techniques may be needed including non-selective kill of existing turf, grading, importing soil, topdressing with compost and slice seeding. Whatever the job needs, we can handle it!
